Cleared Soulseer Mizutsune EX

He was my first EX cleared today (yeah, there are more). Yesterday we had a terrible team and we couldn't clear it, but today it was a totally different story.

Well... honestly, our first attempt was a total disaster, even when we had a guy with a red crown with us.
Since he starts asleep, we wanted to bomb him, but a wild bubble suddenly appeared and touched me while I was setting up my bomb, waking him up pretty pissed off.
Everything went downhill pretty fast, with two carts in less than 1 minute and everybody abandoning the quest. The red crown flatly abandoned the room.

Our second try was no better.
Some HR 170ish guy was the one who kept carting over and over again. Since I was the host of the room (for the marathonic 12 hours it was online, no less) and I believe in self-improvement, I didn't kick that guy and I'm really glad I didn't. This guy got progressively better as the hours passed and we even cleared some quests with him not carting and shitty red crowns carting and getting away.

For the third attempt we had an amazing guy with the Silverwind Hunting Horn (defense and attack L) and we cleared Soulseer EX two times for different people with that setup.

My last quest for the day was helping clear Soulseer EX for one of the guys who helped me clear Bloodbath. And he told us "you make it look easy".
Well, yesterday I cleared Soulseer EX 3 times and today I did it at least other 3 times, but it could had been 5. There were 12 hours non-stop; I don't remember well.

Anyway, I suppose you want some kind of strategy to clear Soulseer EX. Don't worry, I got you covered, fam.

  • You can sleep bomb to start the fight.
  • Be REALLY careful when setting the bombs, though. You don't want to get touched by his bubbles.
  • You never want to get touched by his bubbles, in fact. When someone has bubbles, he enters rage state and goes medieval on that poor soul's ass.
  • Speaking of which, if someone brings the skill Bubbly Dance, hilarity ensues.
  • Cutting his tail will diminish his attack range, making his rage state more manageable... which depending on your luck, or armor setup (see above), that can be always.
Hard deviant, but definitely not the worst.
