Cleared Bloodbath Diablos EX

You saw right. I made three posts for today; all of them saying I cleared this deviant or other.
But if you have been reading all these posts (and why should you not? I know my great prose one day will make me win a Nobel or some shit) this will not come as a surprise to you.

When I got to this quest I was into the 11th hour in my gaming session. Since that's something I don't usually do, I was physically tired and mentally burnt out.
Clearing just one EX is kind of a pain in the ass and is quite stressful. Imagine doing that over and over again during the course of 12 hours. Never again.
But I kept going because I was resolute to get my red crown today, and I did it.

My Bloodbath was particularly painful; not because it's harder than other deviants (it's not), but because the randoms I was playing with kept carting over and over and they just didn't seem to get better. I had cleared this quest in the past at least four times, no problem, but today we had a lot of problems.
I came to the point when I said "fuck it" and started to half-ass their quests the same way they did with mine.

From the four men group I tried this quest at least 4 times, only one of them remained in the group and fortunately he was the most insightful and nice from that bunch.
Then I got lucky and the most awesome prowler I have ever had the luck to play with, joined us. To give you some context, this was the same guy who helped me clear Boltreaver EX in 10 minutes or so and we did it with just three players.

So just we three embarked to our journey against Bloodbath. A journey of tears, blood and temper tantrums. Mostly temper tantrums from me, actually.
We had a kinda long fight. It took us 15 minutes but we cleared it in our first attempt together.

Our strategy was simple:

• HG Earplugs, motherfucker! Do you know them?
• Bloodbath charging at you? Sheathe your weapon and run like the devil.
• Bloodbath burying in the groud? Sheathe your weapon and run like the devil.
• Bloodbath charging all aroung the place while releasing steam? Sheathe your weapon and run like the devil.
• Bloodbath casually glancing at you? Sheathe your weapon and run like the devil.

Meanwhile, the prowler put us to shame to both, since he kept attacking all the time and even got a KO.

I know that wasn't the most elegant strategy, but it got the job done. Even then, we carted thrice, but blessed Felyne Insurance saved our sorry asses.
In fact, the screenshot I posted was the third cart in the fight, got by yours trully. My comrades in arms killed Bloodbath while I was coming back from the camp.

So I got my red crown

I finally posted and beat all deviants in this game. It was a long and many times not enjoyable at all journey, but you know what? I got great memories from all of this.

So this is me with my well deserved red crown.
